What exactly are the ABCs you mention?

ALIGN At this point in time most of us have been spending a lot more time in our homes than we probably have in recent times. This "pause" has allowed us to think more about what we like about ourselves and our environment. We might have realized our surroundings don't exactly match who we are inside. Now is the time to makes some changes to allow your home to align with you!

BALANCE Being in our homes for extended periods of time has enabled us to feel where we may not be as balanced in our space as we would like to be. I have discovered over the years that sometimes making subtle changes to how our furniture, artwork and decorations are placed can make a huge difference in the way we feel. Let's co-create your space by moving and shifting to allow balance!

CENTER When we feel good about ourselves and our environment we feel in our center. Being in our space provides a feeling a peace and harmony and we can be a better spouse, relative, friend, and neighbor to others. You can do it!

Co-Creating using the ABC's

Minor changes in furniture and/or it's placement, adding or subtracting accessories, and artwork can bring new life to an existing space to align, balance and center it. Everyone wants to feel more at peace in their home (or office). Being relaxed among your favorite things, and in-joying your home can lift your spirits and give you real comfort, especially at this time in our world. Allow me to adapt existing belongings to bring more harmony into your space.

A friend of mine wanted to rearrange her very large great room and had no idea how to manage it. I went back to the entrance door and after a few minutes gave her my ideas based on her requirements for using the space. A few weeks later I returned and my suggestions had been taken and she was thrilled with the space.

Senior Safety Walk-Thru

The week of September 21-25 is Fall Prevention Awareness Week so I'm launching this website this week to assist in keeping people as safe as possible.

One if every four adults over the age of 65 will fall in any given year, and, one in five of those causes an injury to the body or head! Preventing falls by making some changes to your house by furniture rearranging, adding safety items to assist moving in the bathroom, and adding lighting in strategic areas will all help.

Using a safety check list in reviewing your environment I can identify areas that you might want to address to minimize your possibility of serious fall or injury.

Staging /Decorating

This concept is used when you are considering selling or renting out your home or office. I pare down what you've got, streamlining your space to make it flow better, and be more welcoming for prospective buyers or renters. Sometimes I find items in different areas of the house and move and shift them for better placement. It's amazing how a few changes can make a huge impact.

A Chicago suburban home owned by a friend hadn't sold after three months on the LS, so she hired someone to stage it. Two months after that I came to visit from Arizona, and the house still hadn't sold. I asked if I could make changes based on my way of staging using the ABC's, and the house sold in two days!

Cost for staging/decorating is based on the square footage of your space.
